Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the natural person.

b) Access data/ server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server enquiry

8. Social networks and other third-party services

Kromer Print AG manages various accounts and profiles on social networks (including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.). These sites and services are offered and operated by third parties. Each of these sites has its own privacy policy.

The most important services operated by third parties that Kromer Print AG uses are:

a) Facebook

Plugins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, are integrated on our pages. You can recognise the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the Like button on our site. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When you visit our website, a direct connection is established between your browser and https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/Facebook-Server via the plugin. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook Like button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. d) YouTube

As soon as you call up a Kromer Print AG page with an embedded YouTube video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and plug-ins from YouTube (YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA; subsidiary Google LLC) are occasionally used. YouTube is informed which page was visited from which IP address.

e) Bitly

Bitly is a so-called short URL service. bitly, Inc. is based in New York, US. Information on the handling of user data can be found at https://bitly.com/pages/privacy.

f) Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (Google). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. You can submit your application for a position with us by post or via the e-mail address provided on our website or via certain Internet portals. The application documents and all personal data disclosed to us will be treated in strict confidence, will not be disclosed to third parties and will only be processed for the purpose of processing your application for employment with us. Without your consent to the contrary, your application dossier will either be returned to you or deleted/destroyed after the application process has been completed, unless it is subject to a statutory retention obligation. The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent, the fulfilment of the contract with you and our legitimate interests.
