It is important to us to create optimum conditions for data transfer<\/strong> when processing your print jobs. Carefully prepared documents form the basis for flawless and successful print production. In order to avoid errors, we have compiled the most important guidelines for you. These guidelines are based on ISO standards, which represent the process parameters for us and define the target specifications for us. We will be happy to answer any questions or clarifications you may have.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When creating a PDF, it is important that all fonts used are embedded in the PDF, all images have a sufficiently high resolution, and you use the correct color profiles (PDF settings at www.pdfx-ready.ch or on request).<\/p>\n

We ask you to deliver the PDF as single pages for brochures or assembled in the correct order for folded brochures.<\/p>\n

Please also note that we require a 3 mm edge trim for elements with falling edges. It is best if you supply us with your print PDF including trim marks and bleed.<\/p>\n

From the delivered PDF we create a preflight, in which the PDF is checked for color space, resolution and line width.<\/p>\n

Four-color print jobs may only contain the four basic colors CMYK.<\/p>\n

If necessary, convert all RGB, Pantone, or chromatic colors to the CMYK color space.<\/p>\n

The total ink coverage is optimally 300% on coated paper and 280% on uncoated paper.<\/p>\n

Recommended profiles: ISOcoated_v2_300 and PSOuncoated.[\/vc_column_text][tm_spacer size=”lg:30″][tm_heading style=”below-separator” custom_google_font=”” text=”Delivery of open print data” css=”.vc_custom_1609403128065{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Please make sure that all images and fonts used are also supplied.<\/p>\n

Please check that your settings regarding “Knockout” and “Overprint” are defined correctly. Trapping is done in the PDF workflow.<\/p>\n

In case of multicolor printing, black solid areas can be trapped with approx. 50% cyan to achieve a deeper black.<\/p>\n

All fonts in the closed files (EPS) must be embedded or vectorized (not editable).<\/p>\n

For security reasons, we recommend that you include a binding black-and-white or color print with your data delivery (reduced size also possible).<\/p>\n

Please note that we require an edge trim of 3 mm each for elements with a falling edge.[\/vc_column_text][tm_spacer size=”lg:30″][tm_heading style=”below-separator” custom_google_font=”” text=”Image data guidelines” css=”.vc_custom_1609403164001{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Make sure that all images are saved in Adobe Photoshop as EPS, Tiff or JPEG (maximum resolution) and in CMYK color space.<\/p>\n

We convert supplied RGB images to CMYK by applying an ISO profile in the workflow that corresponds to the paper. If possible, the images should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi for good quality, and 1200 dpi for bitmap (line).
